A church belonging to a Baroque convent, remodeled and converted into a Municipal Library, while maintaining parts of its original structure. The convent was built by the Discalced Friars of the Order of the Holy Trinity, with permission from Dom João V. The church was subsequently constructed between 1718 and 1728, and the library was installed here in 1999.

This park stretches for about 1.5 kilometers, following the course of the Fresno River. It's a recreational area with pedestrian trails along the banks and a pier with support equipment. Along the river, you'll see restored mills, fountains, and watermills.

The cruise begins and ends at the International Biological Station, next to the Miranda do Douro dam and its border with Zamora, Spain. The former cathedral of Miranda do Douro, founded in 1552 by Dom João III, was designed by Gonçalo Torralva and Miguel Arruda. Notable features include its Mannerist façade, bell towers, altars, altarpieces, vaults, and stalls. The altarpiece's sculptures depict, among other themes, the apostles and the Virgin Mary amid angels. Of particular note is the wooden figure of the Baby Jesus in a Top Hat.

Of the original castle, only a portion of the citadel remains, along with some sections of the walls interrupted by turrets, and the Porta da Traição (Traitor's Gate). Several entrances open into the castle's surrounding walls: the Porta da Senhora do Amparo (Lady of Protection), the Porta Falsa (False Gate), and the Postigo. Still standing, but badly damaged, is the keep.

A fortified settlement located on the slopes of the Douro River, it was reportedly used as a crossing point during Roman times. Excavations uncovered several Roman tombstones in the chapel of São João, located 1,500 meters above sea level.

Located in the historic center of Miranda do Douro, in a 17th-century building, this museum collects, preserves, and exhibits the region's cultural, ethnographic, and artistic heritage. It was founded in 1982 in a 17th-century building that previously served as city hall and municipal jail.

Former Carthusian Convent, founded in the early 17th century by Saint Bruno, features a small cloister with three arches in each wing and a limestone façade.

A museum that aims to illustrate the history and evolution of the automobile throughout the 20th century. It features themed exhibitions related to various aspects of the antique automobile.
