Redondo
The Redondo municipality is located in Central Alentejo and has two main gateways: the plain to the south and the Serra d'Ossa to the north. The human presence comes from ancient times. Over time, the influences of the different peoples who settled here became rooted in the uses and customs of the people, and can now be experienced and contemplated by those who visit. In August, every two years, the streets of this town are adorned with wonderful colorful paper shapes, created by the effort and imagination of the population. Redondo also stands out for its regional products, including honey, olive oil and sausages.
