The "Parque de Lazer de Meixomil" (Meixomil's Leisure Park) has an area of 32 000 square metres along the banks of the Eiriz River. Built in the middle of cliffs and vegetation, this Convent is also known as convent of Santa Cruz da Serra or Cork. Simple construction of great rusticity was founded in 1560, by Dom Álvaro de Castro, as fulfilment of a vow he had made to his father, Dom João de Castro. In this space all is miniaturial, the tiers, lined with Cork, the refectory and the small church with the marble altar, whose Vault was carved in the rock itself. It is assumed that was abandoned in 1834, following the extinction of the religious orders determined by the liberal regime.

Building where the XV century Porto’s trade exchange ran. It has the medieval arms of the Casa de Avis, which recall the role of the King Dom João I on the renovation of the present Infante Dom Henrique Street. The building was restored in the reign of Dom Afonso V and became, also, the entrance to the Casa da Moeda (mint), from which you still can see the XVI century door. It was the Crown’s and the morgados de Fermedo property, one of the families that ennobled this important street and business centre of the old town.

Traces of a fortified settlement located on the right bank of the river Cávado, around the village of Donões, in cabeço flattened. Is visible from different angles and other villages of the surrounding area, as is the case of castro de Mourilhe and castro de Frades. Presents a form approximately circular with about 70 meters in diameter and surrounded by a line of wall still visible, with approximately four meters thick. The defense is complemented by three deep moats that precede the line of Hadrian's wall. Of the interior were collected several pieces of prehistoric and Roman pottery.

This building with three naves has a prismatic bell ringer tower with ashlars irregular on the corners, covered by a pyramidal dome and with traces from the Manueline. The altarpiece is in golden carving with a sacrarium with a mannerist structure. It presents a mannerist doorway and on its inside it stands out the glazed tiles coverage from the 17th century and the paintings from the 17th century from Baltazer Gomes and from Josefa de Óbidos. Also, worthy to mention is D. João de Noronha tomb considered a masterpiece from the Portuguese Renaissance.

This 17th century construction is sided by two towers with pyramidal domes draped in glazed tiles. It has one only nave with vaults decorated with wall paintings dated from the 18th century. It possesses six lateral chapels opening to the nave by perfectly vaulted arches, linked each other in the corbels level. Below the main chapel there is São João de Deus chapel where, according to the tradition it is located the house from street Rua Verde where in 1495 João Cidade (São João de Deus) was born.

Espaço moderno e simples a servir pratos rápidos, tais como sandes e saladas. Aqui procura-se marcar a diferença combinando comida tipicamente madeirense com pratos venezuelanos. O milho frito, o bolo do caco, a poncha, entre outros, convivem e se fundem com as cachapas, as arepas, as hallacas, o pabellón criollo, o pernil, o pan de jamón, os golfeados, a chicha, entre outras.
