A traditional village where the manors and the pillory, a public interest construction, stand out.

This village, located by the Mondego river, is of the 12th century. In 1514 it was given a charter by Dom Manuel. Located in the vineyards region of the Beiras, it has a rural tourism space, the House of Abreu Madeira, that belongs to the Routes of the Dão Wines. Santar is located in the vineyards centre of the Dão region. It has a group of manors, mostly in the baroque style. Among them, a special note to the a8th century House of Souto, the Paço, the Alameda Farm and the Vale do Chão Farm, both adapted to be rural tourism houses. The church of misericórdia is of the 17th century. There are also vestiges of roman roads, typical cobblestone streets and granite houses.

A village located on the foothills of the Sirigo mountain, that owes its name to the abundant aechaeoligical vestiges of the region, menhirs, dolmens and graves carved on the rocks. Mostly two megalithic monuments are worth a visit, the necropolis of Lareira de Cima and the menhir of the Valley of Maria Pais. A medieval village, famed for its franciscan convent, the Monastery of Saint António de Ferreirim. Built in the late Middle Ages, by the last counts of Marialva, it was reformed in the 16th century. The church, built in 1535, is in the manuelin-renaissance style. A part of its 16th century retables are by the thus called "Masters of Ferreirim". In the convent there is a medieval military tower.

Located betwwen two brooks that lead to Alcáçovas, Santa Susana is a typical village of the Alentejo region, with white houses decorated with blue bars. The dam's proximity allows for the practice of water sports and fishing. It has a river beach, with cork oaks and pines on the banks, a shooting area and hunting areas. Being an ancient place, it is not a wonder that pre-historic axes and gold artefacts of the Iron Age have been found here.
