Santa Susana
Located betwwen two brooks that lead to Alcáçovas, Santa Susana is a typical village of the Alentejo region, with white houses decorated with blue bars. The dam's proximity allows for the practice of water sports and fishing. It has a river beach, with cork oaks and pines on the banks, a shooting area and hunting areas. Being an ancient place, it is not a wonder that pre-historic axes and gold artefacts of the Iron Age have been found here. In architectural terms, a special note to the mother church and to the submerged roman bridge. Regarding the craftswork, thera are cork and wood miniatures as well as embroideries.
