A place of rare ecological-environmental beauty, stretched along the left bank of the Arade River. The park occupies an 18-hectare plot of land, where different environments are found: salt marsh, marshland, scrubland, a lagoon, agricultural areas, flats and watercourses. Nearby there are ancient traces of human activities such as water mills. It has a reception building, guard's house, restrooms, open-air amphitheater, picnic area, maintenance route and a pier.

The first word that springs to mind when one wants to describe the Natural Park of the Estrela Mountain is "diversity". This central massif that comprises the municipalities of Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Gouveia, Guarda, Manteigas and Seia, is quite diverse in landscape terms. The central high plain, dominated by the Torre (Tower, the highest pont in mainland Portugal, at an altitude of 1991 metres) and the Zêzere glacier are completely different from other parts of the mountain.

With an extensive sand beach, where boats are “parked” by the sea, Aguda beach is also known for the richness of the dunes and abundant vegetation. More than a bathing area, Aguda is a welcoming place, where traditions meet new trends. With a blue flag, it has all the conditions to fully enjoy the beach. It has a wooden walkway along its entire length, in addition to being part of the "Accessible Beach, Beach for All" network.

The Ferrara Plaza is the first traditional and themed mall in the country. Paços de Ferreira therefore has a space that is not only meant for shopping but also for leisure and entertainment, totalling 28000 m2. The space has 131 fashion, decor, home and communications shops, a hypermarket, a parking lot for 1400 vehicles and a restaurants area.It has also the floor that is named "Móvel Plaza" (Furniture Plaza), entirely devoted to showing and selling furnitures.

The Mata do Choupal (wood) it’s one of the most beautiful places of the city, owning a flora and fauna herd to find in any other part of the country. It has few exemplars of the trees it was named after, with the exception of some specimens as the white poplar, the American poplar and the black poplar. Although the vegetation is getting old, the Choupal is still the most famous park in the city. It is here that you find the hippic centre of Coimbra and ride on horseback in this beautiful space.

Located by the sea, this venture has 61 four-star tourist apartments spread over five floors, fully renovated in 2010. The Cantinho da Figueira is a Centennial building, sheltered medieval walls housing the village of Castelo de Vide, in Alentejo. The interior of the dwelling is paved with wood, combined with the texture of traditional whitewashed walls, offering a variety of unique light effects. On the first floor floor, the room is marked by harmony and decoration by the nobility of the window, where you can enjoy a meal overlooking the Sierra de São Paulo, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede.

The complex of Casas da Lapa, situated in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, offers eight double rooms, decorated with comfort and refinement. The houses, dating from 1832, were built in terraces, making the most of the land in the village of Lapa dos Dinheiros, about 700 meters above sea level. The cascade of Anchovy passes beside the houses, which are about three miles from the river beach of Ribeira da Caniça.

A park with 26 hectares, located at the top of Avenida da Liberdade. Its current configuration is by Keil do Amaral (1945). It has a central strip covered with grass, flanked by a sidewalk in Portuguese pavement. Here you can also find various sculptures, a viewpoint, esplanade and a lake. Also noteworthy is the Estufa Fria, with a great diversity of plants from various parts of the world. There is also the Carlos Lopes Pavilion, used for conferences and concerts.
