Seia
Seia is situated on the western slope of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, covering a large part of this important Sierra. It is known for hosting the highest point of continental Portugal, the Tower, with 1993 meters above sea level. It is also the second highest point of the country, staying just short of the Mountain of Pico in the Azores. One of the biggest attractions of Seia is the Vodafone ski resort, the only natural ski resort in the country. There are several hotels and offices prepared and suited for lovers of winter sports, as well as good restaurastes to offer regional products and souvenir shops with handcrafted products.
