Here were, in the 16th and 17th centuries, bullfights, on the occasion of the main parties, being so called Terreiro do Run. In the 19th century was the fruit and vegetable market.

Bridge over the Lima River, which connects the parish of Santa Maria Maior, in Viana do Castelo, to Darque. It was inaugurated in 1878and designed by the architect Gustave Eiffel.

Ribeira de Seda originates in Serra de São Mamede and crosses the municipalities of Portalegre and Crato, entering Alter do Chão and then flowing into the Maranhão dam, in Avis.

This river starts at Albergaria dos Doze, in the municipality of Pombal, it crosses Soure and Vila Nova de Anços and flows to the Mondego river. It is about 60 kilometres long.

In this artificial reservoir, one may do recreational fishing and canoeing. It has a picnic area, a scouts park, an archers park and a forest. There are also wc and locker rooms.

It belongs to a set of small waterfalls and ends at the Fervença waterfall, with an altitude of 15 to 20 metres. It is acceded by the EM (Nogueira/Portela do Vade). The waterfall is not fit for sports.

The Homem River is a tributary on the right bank of the Cávado, with a length of 37 kilometers. It rises in the Serra do Gerês and it is on this river that the Vilarinho das Furnas hydroelectric plant is located.

River beach with the Tagus River as a backdrop, as well as being located in the magnificent Quinta do Alamal. It has an extensive beach, with calm waters and a calming surrounding landscape.

The construction of the Vale do Rossim dam, located in the municipality of Gouveia, enabled the emergence of this recreational/leisure space where the surrounding landscape and water quality stand out.

A very wide beach surrounded by dunes and by the Mata do Urso (Bear Woods) Pine Woods, with its entrance in a fishing village. Typical restaurants with good prices.
