Statue dating from 1933, built by Dr. Aristides de Sousa Mendes, Portuguese consul in Bordeaux during the Holocaust. The imposing Christ the King was brought from Belgium in blocks and erected on this lookout point that was part of his property, which also houses the Casa do Passal.

Chapel that is currently in ruins and that owes its name to the legend that tells that at the time of the Moorish invasions, an image of Our Lady was hidden in the trunk of one of the many oak trees that were there, having been found after 18 years.
