1\/1\/1859 was born. The painting was a family tradition. Henrique Pousão was no exception and attended the Academy of fine arts of Porto. His talent did not take long to be discovered and more could have been extended, if it wasn't for pulmonary tuberculosis to put an end to life, in 1884.
