Then, head to the slope of the Cathedral and visit the Church of Santo António and of course the Lisbon Cathedral. Then, watch the city from the Miradouro de Santa Luzia and, mainly, from the Castle of s. Jorge. Entering the Neighborhood of Alfama, one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods, visit the House of Fado and the Portuguese guitar and recharge at some forces of the typical restaurants of the area. The early afternoon start with the Ancient Ribeira. There you will find the Casa dos Bicos and the Igreja da Conceição Velha. Proceed towards Praça do Comércio (aka Terreiro do Paço), where stands the statue of d. José I and, right beside, in Town Hall Square, be sure to view the town hall building, where the Town Hall is located. Follow now to the Chiado and visit the Museum or take a look at the Teatro Nacional de s. Carlos. Have a cup of coffee in Brazil and walk toward the Bairro Alto. There will come across, in particular, with the Igreja de São Roque and, inside, the beautiful chapel of St. John. Also be sure to visit the Museum of sacred art, adjacent to the Church and then to relax, enjoy a good port in Solar do Vinho do Porto. Just before dusk, notice the old town from the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara. When night falls, try one of the typical restaurants of the area and (re) discover the fado of Lisbon in one of the Fado houses of Bairro Alto. Finally, go down to the bars and clubs of the docks and have fun.
