Upon arrival, a viewpoint with a chapel awaits us, from which the name of the beach derives. Located between cliffs, this beach offers excellent conditions for pleasant days in the sun. The beach has a concession area, as there are several tourist sets nearby. Boats depart from here to visit the cliff caves that abound here.
A beach surrounded by dunes and enormous cliffs, with a wide stretch of sand. It is attended by tourists and by those who enjoy recreational fishing. It has a small restaurant with a terrace.
It is the most recent seaside complex at Madeira Island, with a privileged location, at the Lido promenade, ideal place of a walk. It has two adult pools and one for children. It also offers sea access, sand filed for several sports, infra-structures to nautical sports, WC, locker rooms, umbrellas, settees and first aid sickberth.
Hidden beach at the bottom of cliffs, whose access is possible only by dirt tracks, without indications. From this beach, the cliffs are no longer in light shades, such as those that characterize much of the Algarve coast, to become dark. There are parts of the beach that disappear when the tide comes in. As the sea is wavy, it is customary to see if surfers around here.
Very touristy area with extensive sand beach where a beach soccer tournament is held. There are freshwater and saltwater pools and it is possible to hire bicycles and play tennis. It has a top quality restaurant and the casino is nearby.
