It is on the North coast of the island of São Jorge, more exactly between Fajã da Ponta Grossa and Fajã da Abelheira we found this small black pebbles beach.

Uniquely beautiful, it is the ideal spot for boat or canoe rides, for fishing and for practising water sports - there is a sailing school and a widsurfing school. There are several restaurants, lots of liveliness at night and street shops.

Pleasant landscape composed of two zones: one of river and the other maritime. Much sought after area, with a lot of shopping and nightlife. It has a walkway that connects the car park and the beach.

A very beautiful beach located on a protected area, by wide pine woods (Camarido). There are usually naturists. The access is by a dirt road where motorized vehicles cannot go.
