Santa Cruz da Graciosa
Santa Cruz da Graciosa is the only municipality on the Azorean island of Graciosa. Just over 12 kilometers long, this island of volcanic origin is marked by its main crater, reaching 400 meters in altitude. Despite this, this is the least geographically rugged island in the entire archipelago. The interior of the Caldeira is made up of several volcanic tunnels, including the famous Furna do Enxofre, a geological phenomenon of great spectacularity and beauty. The landscape is predominantly made up of agricultural fields, forming a mosaic that occupies almost the entire island. Vineyards are one of the main crops.
