O fabrico do pão-de-ló nesta região tem mais de 150 anos, por isso é um dos produtos regionais mais apreciados. Ao subir as escadas da fábrica é possível recuar um século e observar uma decoração singular, ao mesmo tempo que o odor do doce típico aumenta a vontade de experimentá-lo. Considerada Loja de Tradição desde 1994, a fábrica possibilita aos visitantes saborear o pão-de-ló.

Em Setembro de 2010 o Hard Club veio do outro lado do rio e instalou-se no Mercado Ferreira Borges, edifício classificado pela Unesco como Património Cultural e Arquitectónico da Humanidade e pelo IGESPAR como Edifício de Interesse Público, trazendo um novo conceito, integral, único e que consiste na criação de um espaço de acolhimento, divulgação, concepção e partilha de práticas, bens e produtos artísticos, culturais e turísticos.

Space installed in the old Episcopal Seminary built in 1601 by Dom Nuno de Noronha, Bishop of Guarda. It opened to the public as a museum in 1985, under the name Museu da Guarda, showing the history of the district.
