This monument dates from the 12th century and it was deeply reformed on the 18th and 19th centuries. It conserves the original Gothic main chapel with the vaulted opening. Beneath the gothic – manueline arch there is the knight Fernão Gomes de Góis tomb executed in 1440 by João Afonso, the bells master. The tomb has a fallen statue, abundantly decorated laying above four lions with closed and brushed mane. The Cerrado Farm belongs to the Route of the Dão Wines and one may visit the cellar, quite lovely vineyards and the traditional rural house, as well as the União Comercial da beira, Lda., one of the oldest wine producers in the Dão region, who bought this farm in the 1980s. Its vines occupy a total of 30 ha. Those who visit get to learn more about the wine production and, most of all, get acquainted with the famed Dão wines.

The distinctive feature of this church is the chancel, due to the use of the cover of the dome with Lantern Tower.
