This building, dating from the 18th century, has worked as a Hospital and infantry regiment. Only in 1929 is that opened as a theatre, lasting until 1987. After restoration, it reopened in 2007. The room of spectacles, circular in plan, is covered with a dome and the places are distributed by audience and two levels of staterooms with balconies ornamented. The building is classified as a Building of public interest.

Chapel probably dating from the 7th century, belonging to the restricted set of monuments in Portugal to present a Visigothic architecture. Presents three aisles and a chancel which enhance the arches and capitals decorated with phytomorphic. Deserve also attention the high altar of carved, wooden polychrome ceilings, coffered and the tomb with statue under consideration.

Also known as "Solar dos Castros, this House was built in 1777 with the reuse of previous structures, such as canopies and kitchen bins for grain. Features a wide facade divided by pilasters into five bodies enhanced by decorative motifs. The central body is the granite gate, topped by stone weapons. The garden, 18th century stroke, is composed of geometric beds limited by boxwood hedges, a tank and a small fountain. The vegetation is topiada, with a curious maze with high hedges and fresh houses carved in shrubbery.

Renaissance Chapel of the late 16th century, with a porch built on columns. Was founded in 1586, successive amendments and additions that knowing you have transformed the initial aspect. Inside are the 1468, an image of our Lady of hope, 16th-century painted ceilings and gilded altars.

This castle was built on an ancient Lusitanian castro that the Romans fortified. The primitive Castle include the Alcazaba with the keep, the vaulted cistern and two doors, the door of the Fires and the Puerta del Sol, which define the structure of the old village wall. The cistern is near a stretch of Hadrian's wall. During the 16th and 17th centuries the Tower served as a town hall. Featured, in the Puerta del Sol, for a century, window dated 1642.

This church is composed by a nave with a high choir, narrower and lower main chapel, campanile, lateral chapels and several divisions. This is a temple with a Romanic structure from which it still preservs the main door with four archivolts and a lateral doorway with ribbed lintels with simple modillions. The main façade has a pediment with a Romanic doorway and two lateral porticos with Romanic elements with a poured cross on the tympanum. The lateral elevations have corbels on the nave volume and on the main chapel attachments, with pilaster on the corners and the top with bandelet …

This temple was constructed on the 12th century and underwent several transformations throughout the centuries, namely on the 16th and 18th centuries, resulting in a succession of different styles. Nowadays it shows his impressive Manueline façade, work done by Nicolau Nasoni. The inside has three naves and the lateral chapels stand out with an eighteenth-century marble and gilded altarpiece, the transept with skylight, the altarpieces, the paintings and the seating.

This park has many trees and bushes, namely chestnut trees, weeping willows, cedars and more. There are small lakes, fountains and grottos.

Located at the old city's Bishop's Palace, this museum was created in 1917. It feature a rather eclectic collection, mostly of the 18th century but ranging from the 1st century AD to our days. The Renaissanc period stands out, with a special not to the Flammish tapestries and to the paintings by Vasco Fernandes.
