Building that housed for decades an Inn. Was inaugurated in 1954 and disintegrated the network of Pousadas de Portugal in 2004.

The Torre de Menagem (donjon) was built by D. Dinis order in 1324. The tower and the enclosed space were used as royal prison from the XIV to the XVIII century. The inside, completely remodelled with a modern iron and wood structure, lodges an interesting museological nucleus, which illustrates the medieval military techniques and the fighting instruments. The castle can be also known through a series of audiovisual documents.

This tower was part of the Palace that was being rebuilt, suffering constant changes to be fully dismantled during the first quarter of the 20th century.

This is an ensemble with 6 paths of Roman roads, that it were probably built between the I and IV centuries. They are composed by curvilinear traces with rectilinear trends and the pavement was in granite blocks. It has one bridge with a perfect curve arch probably built on the XVIII and XII centuries.

Gothic castle with sections of wall surrounding the Manueline parish church, and a unique heptagonal tower, known as Torre do Galo (Rooster Tower), which was part of the castle rebuilt by King Dinis. The town's ancient coat of arms is displayed on the tower's central façade.

Old fortification dating from the 18th century, of which only some ruins remain. The entire complex was built in stone masonry, except for the area next to the sea, built in reinforced concrete. Inside, there are remains of an old lime kiln, dating back to the end of the 19th century.

Founded in the early 18th century, by a group of hermits who lived in the Sierra, suffered extensive damage in the earthquake of 1755 and was deactivated in 1834. The convent is in an advanced state of disrepair and is not advisable to visit to your interior.

Despite today being a Museum and place of operation of the tourist office, this construction has already worked the Town Hall and jail. Has two floors: the lower, the chain; at the top, the camera; both feature traces classicists. Inwardly, the compartments are arranged according to section walls amaze yourself, but its dimensions are considerable.
