Farol da Mama

Farol que, pela sua localização e paisagem desafogada é muito procurado pelos turistas. É rodeado de jardins e passeios pedonais. Este vértice geodésico consiste numa edificação branca com três pés, com semelhanças a um "foguetão". A lanterna do farol encontra-se instalada numa plataforma a dez metros de altura.

Datado de 1549, o Palácio Flor da Murta fazia parte de um vasto domínio senhorial designado por “Quinta da Terrugem”, pertencente à família Correia Barém. Da antiga propriedade, restam uma Adega e o palácio com dois pisos, remodelado no século XVIII. Atualmente, alberga um centro empresarial, mas os demais espaços existentes permitem a realização de eventos.

A National Monument built in the second half of the 18th century. This building, in the "pombalino" (time of the Marquis of Pombal) style, was a recreation farm for the Marquis of Pombal and family. A special note to the chapel with 18th century paintings, th tiles in the intrior and outsid the building, two 18th century statues by Machado de Castro and the waterfalls in the gardens.
