Igreja de Santa Maria Maior de Tarouquela
Romanesque temple founded by Canons of St. Augustine, single copy of monastic Church in the current municipality of Cinfães. Presents in the façade a portal with three archivolts and capitals decorated with Zoomorphic motifs and tympanum decorated. On the South front there are two portals with Romanesque motifs. Inside the highlight goes to the amount of tombs with bows. Yet highlighting the decorative motifs of the arches, Capitols, girdles and dogs. The monastic building nothing remains, although the body of the Church conserves the structure begun in the 12th century. Inside, there is the image of a Virgin of milk, the work of 15th-century Flanders.
