Vouzela

Vouzela lies on the mountainous region has a privileged location: despite being a county from the interior is only 50 km from the coast. The natural heritage deserve also attention for the beauty and diversity of fauna and flora: Botanical reserve of Cambarinho, kills the Penoita and Mata da Nossa Senhora do Castelo. The ex-libris of gastronomy is undoubtedly the veal from Lafões. In the confectionary the highlight goes to the famous pastéis de Vouzela and the traditional desserts of fair: the quiet ones, the cakes, the yolk cavacas, the kisses and the birds.
