Passeio pela Serra do Marão
The Velão mountain is 1013 metres tall and full of edenic landscapes. If you climb up just a little further, you will reach the Cruz das Moças (Crucifix of the Young Girls). At Pena Suar you can see fans of the eolian park. The place has an area of 3.8 hectares and produces enough energy for 15 thousand inhabitants. The Marão Mountain is rich both in terms of fauna and of flora. A special note to the wolf, the fox, the scops owl, Lataste's viper and the smooth snake. One must visit the main church at Campeã and the old wooden silos in the village.
