Núcleo de Arte Rupestre da Canada do Inferno e Rego da Vide
This is one of the rock art sites in the Valley of the Coa, forming a rare set of this type of art, essentially composed of stone engravings dated from the Upper Paleolithic.
At the core of Canada do Inferno were scheduled 36 already recorded rocks, mostly submerged since 1983 as a result of the construction of the dam do Pocinho. It was in this part of the Valley, the 400 metres downstream, which was under construction the Foz Coa dam. As most important aspects noted the existence of various fishes recorded in two of the rocks of this nucleus, in (submerged) for another (emerged) flange for filiform incision, as well as engravings of pós-paleolítico style.
