Trilho Pedestre Vila Franca do Campo - Ponta da Garça (PRL1)

Route that begins in the heart of Vila Franca do Campo, near the parish church, dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel. Then follows the coastline to Praia do Corpo Santo. Then the route passes in the vineyard Beach sand and continues toward the Ribeira das Tainhas. Continuing the journey, in the parish of Ponta Garça, the largest parish in the Azores archipelago extension, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Miradouro da Costa of Furada, where there is also a lookout for Whales. The final part of the route goes through the Lighthouse of Ponta Garça and the chapel of our Lady of mercy.
