The plac where the writer Aquilino Ribeiro was born in 1885. Its architectural heritage includes the Mother Church, the Convent of Saint Bernardo, The Tabosa Fountain, the bridge, the chapels of Saint Estêvaõ, Saint Quitéria (village of Santo Estêvão), Saint Amaro, the Lord of the Miracles and Saint Bárbara and the manor. The craftswork includes wood objects (ox carts).
