This standard is about 3 feet tall, a base with three steps, a quadrangular column without ornamentation and, on top, an armillary sphere and a cross of Christ. He was sent to build the New State in 40 years. XX, commemorative of the 800 years of the independence of Portugal (1140) and restoration of independence (1640).
