Jardim da Lapa
At the Parque da Lapa (Lapa Park) there are many different tree species, some quite aged, namely the Cedrus Deodara and the Cedrus Libani. Well located in the centre of town, by the Chapel of Lapa, with very comfortable benches.

On the Bank of the river Lima is this park with plenty of shade and tables, ideal for picnics.
Campo do Arnardo
A wide space that is a backup area of the River Beach, by the Lima river and the Medieval Bridge. There is a picnic area with several shady trees.
