Encontr'artes - Encontro de Artistas do Vale do Sousa

It has been eleven years already that the Paredes parish becomes a true stage for the most diverse art forms. Art, literature, poetry, music, theatre, craftswork and folklore represinte the six parishes of the Sousa Valley, with a program that has been most successful and has brought to Paredes important names of the arts in Portugal, such as Raúl Solnado and Maria João and Mário Laginhas. Conditions are created so as to allow the artists to show their work and, simultaneously, create cultural habits in the populations. The event takes place in the whole town of Paredes but the most important events happen in the Casa da Cukltura de Paredes.
