Capela de Nossa Senhora das Neves

Simple, rectangular plant building with gable roof coverage. The appliance is in granite ashlars well equipped and with white painted joints. The sacristy is located near the south wall. Have canonical orientation. The corners are apilastrados, crowned with pinnacles and the angles of the Gables topped by crosses. Over the main door opens a niche with the image of Our Lady of Snows, placed at the center of a triangular pediment and decorated with two pinnacles and cross to the Center. On the north façade was recorded the inscription: "INS YEAR of 1720". The gable of the sacristy is topped by arched belfry, surmounted by a cross and flanked by pilasters, being the arch decorated with Gargoyle. On the south wall there is a small circular window. Inside, the ceiling is in wood, granite slabs and flooring, on the side of the Epistle, is the sacristy. The chancel has three steps that access the altar where there is the inscription "VIDIQVASIPV". The retable is gilded and painted blue, with the image to the Center. In the sacristy there is a sink, crowned by a feminine figure on which rips a niche. Front of the main door was placed on a cruise in granite, with the following inscription: 1960\/OFFERS\/N.S.DAS\/SNOWPLOW\/for YOUR\/daughter\/a. ALVES. Interpretation — traces around point to the existence of other constructions, prior to Chapel, possibly a cistercence monastery, with connection to the Cleats of Júnias.
