Ecomuseu de Barroso - Pólo de Tourém

This pole is installed in the former Court of the ox of the people, working in network with the Interpretive Centre in Montalegre. It is a center of environmental education which focuses on species that occur in the Highlands of Mourela and in the Valley of the dam and in bird ringing in the Valley of the past 30 years Sallas and their migratory flows and the confluence of two climates, Mediterranean and Atlantic. Tourém offers three hiking routes to reconcile fundamental themes in preserving the identity of a territory; the coast Trail associates the natural heritage. Trail of Birds associates the beauty of the landscape to obstruction of birds and the smuggling Route linking the village of Tourém with aldeia Galega DOS Calvos of Randim, traversing the paths previously used in the exchange of goods.
