Instituto do Vinho, do Bordado e do Artesanato da Madeira
In July 2006, born the Instituto do Vinho, do Bordado e do Artesanato da Madeira, I.P. (IVBAM), which includes the Instituto do Vinho da Madeira (IVM) and the Instituto do Bordado, Tapeçarias e Artesanato da Madeira (IBTAM).
This entity is responsible for the promotion and dissemination of these regional products
and the issuer of the certificate of quality for Embroidery and Madeira wine.
This institute brings together Madeira embroidery dating from the XIX-XX centuries, costumes and other props, showing the execution process of Madeira embroidery and its history.
