Sanctuary consisting of four chapels: Capela de São João (15th century), the chapel of the Lord of agony (19TH century), the chapel of Nossa senhora da Piedade (17th century as probable) and Senhor dos Aflitos Chapel. These chapels were built one at a time, between the 15th and 19th centuries. Its interiors retain sculptures, like that of St. John the Evangelist in painted limestone and the Senhora da Piedade, the latter of which usually goes out in days of procession.

Where the medieval fortification once stood, the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Castelo was installed. The chapel replaced a previous one from the 14th century. With baroque and neoclassical characteristics, this monument attracts attention due to the tower raised above the façade. Its finishes are in stonework, comprising a nave, a sacristy and a meeting room. The interior also shows an elegant chancel, whose neoclassical altarpiece in gilded and white carving rises on high steps. The interior tile panels depict episodes from the life of the Virgin.

Manor of simple rectangular plan, with regular and symmetrical facades, showing the main façade three cloths divided by Tuscan pilasters. It was built in the 18th century by households Viegas and Teixeira Farms, belonged to Dr. Augustine Thomaz dos Santos Viegas (1819-1897) was a lawyer, politician and Mayor of Seia. The manor was built by the ancestors of his wife d. Teresa de Jesus de Abranches Teixeira Farm de Figueiredo and is known as the Manor of Dr. Augustine Viegas, as locative plate location.
Igreja dos Clérigos

The set is formed by a tower, the Casa do Despacho and Clérigos Church. This monument is the maximum exponent of the Porto’s baroque style. Although it is less known than the Clérigos Tower, the Clérigos Church was built first, between 1732 and 1750. It is a Nasoni’s typical construction. Inside, the golden carving and the baroque, rococo and neoclassic pelmets stand out. This was the first big work by Nasoni and the one which made him famous. This author would never leave the Porto city and died here.

Built on an escarpment above the Douro River, Serra do Pilar, and with Porto as a backdrop, the monument is a former convent of the Canons Regular of Santo Agostinho, founded in 1537. This work has undergone a significant number of transformations which completely modified the initial project, presenting a circular shape and being surrounded by a balcony and topped by a light lantern. The interior features 18th century carvings and sculptures and the upper part is of Baroque origin, being considered a unique example in Portugal due to the circular church and cloister.

Fortified settlement of pre-Roman times located at 1175 metres maximum elevation North of the village of Friars and with reference to the GEODESIC mark of Friars. The sock is perfectly visible slope a line of walls that surrounds the mound and before a broad platform where possibly settled the constructions. On the upper deck, where the landmark GEODESIC, there is great concentration of stones, which the popular claim to have been brought there to build a chapel. Beyond the line of walls, do not identify other constructions, also due to the density of undergrowth.

Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the Faial Fortress recreates a military battery, semicircular in plan, with ten English cannons that were fired during celebrations dedicated to Our Lady of the Nativity. It has a support house where the São Roque do Faial Parish Council exhibition room is located. From this point it is possible to observe a large stretch of the coast and, on clear days, Porto Santo, Serra da Penha d'Águia and the northern part of Ponta de São Lourenço.

Dos únicos vestígios ainda existentes das antigas muralhas medievais, apresentando uma planta quadrangular e ameias prismáticas. A torre de São Paulo é coberta por um terraço, coroada por merlões e possui gárgulas de canhão em cada uma das faces. Na face virada ao rio apresenta um painel de azulejos alusivo à Reconquista com datas de 1140 - 1940.
