Lakes and streams are mingled in 9 of the 18 holes, including the 3rd, where there is a Moorish relic located on an island. The multitude of tees are available for players of all levels.

The Oceânico Faldo Golf Course (in honor of the architect Nick Faldo), in rugged terrain, connects the two highest extremes of the immense property of the almond tree. The strategy is a factor that should always be taken into account and players have to position themselves well in each shot in order to get a good result. The tourism activities that the Stud provides are horseback tours and equestrian training courses or internships.

The decision to build a golf course on the grounds of the Quinta de Benamor was taken in 1986. The owner, the Martins Family Days, invited the Sir Henry Cotton to develop the project of a field of 18 holes. Sir Henry was inspired by the old chapel near the ClubHouse and the spectacular location.
