What may called a lawn is located by the wall's counterforts, along the convent's south side - it is a large geometrical yard, traditionally named horta dos frades (the friars' orchard).

A nice Renaissance monument, by João de Ruão, whose contruction was ordered by Dom João III. There is a central fountain topped by a dome and, around it, four cylinder shaped hermitages. The entire structure stands on a tank. This magnificent artistic set is classed as a national monument.

A special note to the old trees, specimens of the 19th century, the Manor, the Cabras Tower, the Tea House and the Quatro Estações Fountain (created by master João da Silva). A special note to the Quinta da Aveleda (Aveleda Farm) vineyards and to the Old Cellar. In the lake's island, on finds the "Janela da Reboleira" (Reboleira Window), a National Monument in the manuelin style, donated by Tomás Sandeman to Manuel Pedro Guedes in 1880.

The gardens of this house have boxwood and a wide variety of bushes and ornamental herbs. In the centre, there are tanks and fountains that surround the balconies and the statues.

The garden is located behind the building and is composed of boxwood on hedges, linked by stairways and a fountain with three faucets. The garden and the farmlands are surrounded by wide woods. The house dates back to the 17th century.

This space is, together with the Palácio de Cristal gardens and the Quinta da Macieirinha, the Palácio de Cristal Park. It has a grove area, a box formal garden and a small rose garden.

This garden is placed in Madragoa, one of the typical quarters of Lisbon. It is specially attended by the resident of this area and they call it Cats garden. Inside, among the trees, is the statue of the Portuguese writer Ramalho Ortigão.

Tree area where every year takes place a traditional and popular fair. The garden is surrounded by old buildings, such as the Luz Church and The Military College.

The avenue, former “Passeio Público”, was a residential area, although there are still remains of the walkway, with trees and lakes. Along the avenue are several monuments, from which stand out the monument paying homage to the word war dead soldiers, the statue of Alexandre Herculano, Almeida Garrett and Oliveira Martins.
