This Manueline pillory was probably built on the beginning of the 16th century. It is composed by an octave shaft topped by a pyramidal body and finished by an armillary sphere.

Dated 1573, consists of a single column with the Royal arms.

This pillory is standing in a three steps platform with a shaft which base is quite a voluminous cube. The finish is a pyramidal body with a metallic rooster weather vane. It is classified as a Building of Public Interest.

This pillory just stood the marble paving stone plinth. Also for this reason, the date of its construction is not certain, although if suppose that date from the 16th century and, having regard to its base, will have been a breach of your spine.
