There are climibing, soccer and volleyball torunaments there on a regular basis. There are several typical quality restaurants.

A large and pleasant space, where you can stroll along the seafront and rest on one of the garden benches distributed along the port. It has a space where concerts and other events are usually held.

Without rivaling the cosmopolitan Marina da Horta, the center of Recreio Náutico das Lajes do Pico presents itself as a pleasant and inviting place for a sea trip to observe cetaceans. If you prefer, you can simply walk relaxedly among the boats, with the village of Lajes as a backdrop.
