Granja is best known for its swimming pools. Still, the beach is medium sized and quite attended during the summer. There are some restaurants in the surrounding areas.
Tranquil beach, despite having many users to frequent it. The areal is curved and sheltered by a set of pebbles. Calm waters and clear, conducive to the practice of underwater archaeology. The only restaurant in this beach has good fish and a terrace protected by shadows of Palm trees.
Located in a fishermen's neighbourhood, it has a small pier where fish was once sold, as the name itself indicates. It is a currently a touristy beach, with a wide sandy area and fine quality water.
Beach located next to a fishing village where, in the medieval period, whaling was practiced. It is a very popular area, especially for the English, with good quality water and wide sand. Nearby, there is the Atalaia viewpoint where you can enjoy excellent views over the sea. Wide variety of good quality restaurants.
Pleasant place, located on the left bank of the Homem River, with plenty of wooded space and a children's playground. In this area, the river is low and its waters are very calm.
The beach with an extensive sand and clean waters, sheltered by Cape of Sagres. Much sought after by families who spend vacation in this region of the Algarve, overlooking the sea. Behind the beach is the center of the village of Sagres that deserves a visit.
