The most important monument of the village is the Casa da Ínsua or Solar dos Arms, whose date of construction dating back to the 18th century. Is one of the most beautiful manor houses of borders, consisting of a garden on two terraces in the Centre of a large farm with beautiful Woods and the sanctuary of our Lady of Lourdes. The House is preceded by a broad terrace, where stand the Chapel and several dependencies. Highlights the facades, the gardens and a large tank. Has gates of the 19th century, the Italian Bigaglia.

This is one of the oldest chapels of Beja, founded in the end of the XIII century as the vault of the knight Estêvão Vasques. In 1915 it was given to Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Beja, and ended up as a barn. In 1940 it was restored and reopened to cult. It is a chapel with a single nave and main chapel, totally arched, a characteristic of the gothic style during D. Dinis period, with French- Burgundian influence. Castro located in the hillside of Serra da Arada, covering an area of more than seven acres and amounting to 610 meters above sea level. Insculturas of basic typology were discovered the peninsular Northwest rock art, which allowed to conclude that this was inhabited between the 7th century BC and the 4th century AD. There are still traces of more than 25 homes with circular, oval and rectangular plants. The town was defended by a triple wall that had a perimeter of 660 meters.

The Roman road with the vestiges of the Moorish Fountain and a tomb excavated in the rock, near the Church Santa Maria del Jarmelo, the area of St. Peter's Church, cemetery and belfry and casa da câmara, two graves dug into the rock and the land that comprises the Church of San Miguel and two sources of diving. Reveals occupations from the iron age to Medieval times.

Castle rebuilt by King Denis in 1310, undergoing restoration in the 18th century. The former fortification, situated high on a hill stands just a few pieces of wall and turrets, in addition to the seventeenth century fortifications, with cliffs, parapets and ravelins, built during the war of restoration. Highlights include the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Graça, gabled façade, framed straight Dick portal and oculus. This castle is a characteristic example of border strongholds of the lowland regions, with bastions system determined by artillery pirobalística.

The fortress stands on the eastern spur of Serra da Arrábida, from which you can see an extensive landscape from Sines to Sintra.
