A section of the Vila do Conde museum, devoted to the history of ship building.

Created in 1975, it features a set of furnitures, religious art works, tableware and paintings that José Régio, the writer, collected during his life time.

Junta as valências do Arquivo Municipal, Gabinete de Arqueologia e o Núcleo Central do Museu de Vila do Conde. O Centro de Memória resulta de um projeto de regeneração do Solar de S. Sebastião. Recebe exposições temporárias dedicadas à arte contemporânea, para além da exposição permanente da unidade central, “Vila do Conde: Tempo e Território”, e é aqui que se encontra também o espólio arqueológico à guarda da Câmara Municipal, provenientes dos projetos de escavação da Cividade de Bagunte e de divulgação do Castro de S. Paio.

Located in a typical city manor of the 18th century, it aims to promote the study of this time honoured art for the new millenium. It includes lovely Bilros Embroideries. In the museum one may view the women who make the embroideries at work.

Chapel founded in 1603, has a square plan, covered by a huge dome and cornice surmounted by lily flowers. Highlights the grave emblazoned Loh pilot and his wife, the tiles at the beginning of the 18th century and the gilded main altar, Joanna.

Temple founded in the centuries XIV\/XV, suffered changes in later centuries. Outside the Chapel is topped by a large dome. Inside deserve particular reference tile flooring, the 17th century pulpit and the coffered ceiling, decorated with elements of the Marian theme.

Construction of polygonal plant, bastion, turreted in angles. Strong who served military functions until the 19th century, when it passed the only control the input and output of small boats. Inside there are remnants of bunkers and supplies. It was built in the 17th century and, in 1999, adapted by architects Paul Lobo and Amedeo Mandolesi to hotel and restaurant.

A Igreja de Santa Clara, datada do século XIV, apresenta uma estrutura gótica, com alguns acréscimos renascentistas. Na Capela dos Fundadores, datada do século XVI, encontram-se os túmulos: o Monumento Nacional do Infante D. Afonso Sanches e sua mulher D. Teresa Martins, em pedra de anca, considerados das mais belas obras de escultura tumular em estilo manuelino. O Convento de Santa Clara é um imóvel do século XVIII e está inserido na zona especial de proteção da Igreja de Santa Clara de Vila do Conde, classificada como Monumento Nacional.

In this church constructed in 1496, it stands out the main façade sided by bell towers from the 17th century, presenting a magnificent Manueline doorway, laced and sculpted work done by João de Ruão. The interior presents three naves with wooden ceilings, separated by four round arches. On the transept chapels it stands out the golden carving and the coffered vaults.

18th century work also known as Aqueduct of the convent, consisting of a long arched colonnades, today partially ruined. It is an artificial channel built from the convent of Santa Clara to the East and initially comprised of 999 arches. It has a wingspan and height arches backwards, with broken arches and upper rounded channel profile.
