The monastery of this Palace was inhabited by Monks from 1451. In the Church, highlighted by a tomb set dating from the 15th and 16th centuries: Tomb of Fernão Teles de Meneses, dated 1481, and Tomb of João da Silva and Aires da Silva, designed by the sculptor Diogo Pires Manueline-o-Boy.
The Gama Lobos palace is a noble house, with a coat of arms, dating back to the second half of the 18th century, and is the most expressive example of that period in Loulé. It is also known as the Palácio dos Espanhóis (Spaniards Palace), because ot shelterd the Spanish refugees during the Civil War. Currently, the House of Music of the municipality of Loulé and the Music Conservatory of Loulé are installed here.

Prehistoric settlement dating from the Bronze age, where a large semicircular defensive structure visible. Inside, were found objects in pottery, arrowheads, stone axes, necklaces, etc. Is about 750 meters of altitude.
