This palac was built at the beginning of the 20th century by the capitalist Jorge O'Neill according to the plan of the architect and painter Manuel Vilaça. Like a medieval castle it has several styles, namely the romantic style with gothic references, manuelin and Spanish-Arabic. In 1910 the count bought the building and made several changes to it. By testament, this building was left to the people of Cascais and a small museum and a library were introduced. It as several interesting works, many of which regarding Cascais, and some Indian-Portuguese furniture, namely counters of the 17th and 18th centuries.

This 18th century residence used to belong to the Counts of Vila Nova de Portimão. The Palace was reconstructed during Pombaline time and all the ensemble was enriched with glazed tiles panels’ application. The estate has several terraces and paths sided by boxwood, a small chapel, a lake and a 18th century church all covered with glazed tiles from that period.

This 18th century construction presents on its first floor, elegant windows with granite mitres. In the façade centre there is the Coat of Arms. It is worthy to mention two high pinnacles, also in granite rising from the façade extreme.

A building of the 16th century, reformed in the 18th century, that has a façade with two floors. The manuelin influences are notorious in three of the portals. In the centre of the façade thre is the coat of arms of the Abreu Lima that replaced the one of the Távoras, destroyed during the time when the Marquês de Pombal was prime minister.
