The Rio Alto camping, situated nearby the beach of Apulia, is a space where you can benefit from direct contact with nature. As an alternative, we suggest a visit to the Proto-historic Settlement Terroso and the fortress of Nossa Senhora da Conceição.

The Parque de Campismo Rossio de Valhelhas, situated on the banks of the River Zêzere, is characterized by green spaces and shadows, ideal to enjoy your holidays with calm and tranquility. Here you can breathe the fresh air and enjoy the scenery of the Serra da Estrela. Enjoy and make a visit to the castle of Belmonte or the historic village of Sortelha.

The Parque de Campismo de Quiaios, located in the vicinity of the bathing area with sandy beaches, offers spaces with shadows and facilities to offer you a pleasant stay, in a calm and peaceful environment. Relax while doing a bike ride or even on foot. Highlight is the miradouro da bandeira, one of the many attractions that do not fail to exploit.

In the village with the same name, is hidden Praia da Figueira. Although there are plates, automobile access is limited, duly signposted. From a certain point, there is a narrow path to a few meters to the beach. This is flat, without oscillations and very quiet. Looking at the top of the cliff can be seen traces of a 16th-century fortification. Great for sea baths.

Admirable Beach contrasts, surrounded by black shale rock formations and cliffs high. A long sandy beach and very fine sand, there are areas of pebbles and rocks that follow to the sea. The waters are choppy, sought after by surfers, but the baths should be taken care of. At the northern tip emerges the Pedra da Lage, abundant zone in seafood.

Fitting with medieval atmosphere in this small town, there are several carts that make tourism tours, with different routes and prices. For instance, a trip along the centr of town, with a duration of 34 minutes, may cost 45 euros, while a trip to the Aqueduto das Águas (Water Aqueduct), that may last ten minutes, will cost around 20 euros.

Of all the fajãs - fertile places due due to their microclimate - the Fajã da Caldeira do Santo Cristo may be the most well known, namely because it is the only place in the Azores where one can find clams. It also has a lagoon and a underwater cave. It is also excellent for surfers. One can get there on foot or by motorcycle.

The golf course Quinta da Marinha has 5870 metres 18 holes of pure nature and great challenges. Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, this par 71 has stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Sintra Mountains. The Lisbon Golf Coast area, was winner of the Premio IAGO 2007-Best Established Golfing Destination Europe.

This museum brings together a collection of sacred art, made up of several pieces linked to the religious life of the population, including a baptismal font produced by artisans from Lagoa, and the image of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda. The ethnography collection is made up of reproductions of typical Micaelense housing and some objects linked to the region's traditional activities.
