This is an example of civil architecture, educative and cultural (theatre and cinema), with an eclectic style. The building has been totally demolished, between 1988 and 1993, and only the façade of the Rua Nova da Trindade (street) was spared. The demolition made visible a section of the wall pre-existing, that is now inside the construction.
Capela de Santo André

Small chapel that has replaced the original, dated 1560. The facade features 2 side Windows and is surmounted by a Latin cross. The interior has a rectangular altarpiece with popular oriented decoration, painted on the front with dates, indicating the restoration that suffered. Only the Porta da Vila or Arco de Dom Dinis and a section of the wall remain from this medieval castle. The main door is flanked by a tower flanked by two semicircular defensive towers. The town of Vila Flor was part of a border defense zone against attacks from Castile and León.

Architecture of religious type, consisting of chancel, nave, sacristy, belfry and side chapel. This is private and belongs to the family Pinto da Fonseca. This construction there are only ruins, but you can still see the square base of the pulpit and the respective ladder, the triumphal arch broken and, laterally, the tables of the side altars.

The primitive church was destroyed in 1755, and its reconstruction was ordered by Dom José, at the ruins of the Misericórdia Church, from which was save the lateral portal, manueline, two windows, also manueline, a low embossed work of Nossa Senhora da Misericórdia and the Santíssimo Sacramento chapel, from the XVII century.
Igreja Matriz de Albufeira

Built in the late 18th century, the Igreja Matriz has an imposing bell tower. On the main altar there is a valuable image of Nossa Senhora da Conceição from the 18th century and an altarpiece painted by the Albufeira artist Samora Barros. On the side altars and in the sacristy there are images from the 18th and 19th centuries.
