A valley of great natural beauty, with seven kilometres of green hillsides. It had its origins in a glacier whose tongues of ice dissolved at an altitude of 800 metres. The Loriga Brook also resulted from that very same glacier.

A pedestrian trail that may start at Pitões das Júnias and end in the village of Paredes do Rio, on the eastern side of the National Park Peneda-Gerês. A pedestrian walk that is about 8 kilometres long and lasts about four hours. Regardless the time of the year, this walk is a bit slippery, and is thus advisable only for adults.

A 10.2 kilometres long pedestrian walk, along which there are several tunnels, meaning one should carry lanterns. The first part of the trail goes along the "levada" and has nice views of São Jorge and Santana.

Parte integrante da Ecovia do Vez, o trilho dos Passadiços do Sistelo tem início e término no centro da aldeia de Sistelo. É um percurso simples e de dificuldade reduzida, ainda que haja alguma elevação em partes do trilho. No inverno, com o aumento do caudal do rio Vez, torna-se um percurso de difícil acesso, pelo que é aconselhável percorrê-lo na primavera ou verão.
