Built from the former Cine-Teatro Emperor, a design by the architect Filipe Oliveira Dias, the House of creativity has particularities unique in Portugal, allowing the adoption of several provisions in the areas of stage and audience. You can watch the performances of theater, dance and music, as well as young artists.

This space is devoted to theatre, music and dance performances. It has three amphitheatres, on of which is located outdoors, with 480 seats, where summer performances take place. It has a cultural shop. A gallery that features painting and sculpture exhibitions, where veryonee may exhibit their art works, a graphic arts and photography workshop and an audiovisual studio.

The Municipal Theatre - Pax Julia has the biggest playhouse of the south of Portugal. Besides music, theatre and dance shows, it is the stage of the most varied activities: cinema, conferences, congresses, exhibitions, literary assemblies, café-concert, etc. It offers a great auditorium, a studio-room, a foyer, a cafeteria, technical areas, dressing rooms and several private rooms.

Large and modern space, consisting of a Grand Auditorium, with a capacity for 626 seats and where theater, music or dance shows often take place; a Small Auditorium, with a capacity for 161 seats and where plays, some concerts and cinema take place; and by an Art Gallery, where works by renowned artists are exhibited. It also has a Concert Café and a Bar in the Grand Auditorium.

A cultural centre located in the old market of Vila Real de Santo António. It has a large auditorium where several shows take place. There are also occasional painting and sculpture exhibitions.

It was named Coliseu Avenida from 1917 to 1950. It was recovered by the Town Hall in 2005. It maintains the same architecture but can now welcome all sorts of cultural events. It also has a museum that shows the island's past way of life.

The Teatro da Marionetas (puppets’ theatre) was founded in 1988, aiming the production of puppets’ shows. It tried, from the beginning, to renew ancient forms of puppet-show, such as the Dom Roberto show. In 1992, the puppet theatre opened the Belomonte Theatre, exclusively for this company's events.
