This small fort was built by d. Pedro II in the 17th century, in order to protect the coast from attacks of the Spanish during the war of restoration. Features a star-shaped plant and four simple elevation bulwarks.

This set consists of curtains of walls and ramparts of the 18th century include the ramparts of the array and San Antonio, the wall of grace and the clock tower. The Tower, of rectangular plan, features a small terrace on which rests the Bell support. About the port that once defended the village, stands a statue of our Lady da Conceição.

From the bridge on the Coura river to the mouth of the Minho river, the river landscape is astounding. During the low tide, the Minho almost disappears and then shows the vestiges of old fishing boats. During the high tide the river reflects the green Spanish side in its waters. Those who drive along the EN 13 may enjoy the landscape, but the full magic only blooms if one is walking.

The historic area of Caminha is extremely picturesque and combines historic/medieval features with the touristic side. The Chafariz do Terreiro (1517) in the centre, the Paços do Concelho (16th century) and the Clock Tower (a medieval monument of the old defensive walls) are worth a look. The tourists that come from nearby Galicia and fill the terraces in the surrounding cafes liven up the town's centre.

Church built in 1747 and remodeled in 1725, has an architecture similar to that of a Spanish chapel. Emphasis on the Altar of Nossa Senhora das Dores, too before 1747 and Baroque influence. It's rumoured that is derived from the dismantling of the igreja de Nossa Senhora do Desterro, on Noudar.

After serious problems caused by the Castilian domination, d. Dinis gave the order of Aviz Noudar, forcing her to build a strong Castle and granting the town many privileges. Thus, the castle was built in 1308, by order of d. Br. Afonso, master of the order of Aviz, and suffered over the centuries various repairs. Consists of hexagonal wall and fence, reinforced by the cubelos regular spaces, with two gates defended by two barbicans and two shutters. Recently, have been undertaken several archaeological investigations, with a view to the integration and rehabilitation of the origins of this fortification.
