A dam on the Ocreza river, near the place where it meets the Tagus river. Finished in 1951, it only became fully operacional in the late 1980s, after several alterations of its structures. It produces electricity. Sports are permitted, with some restrictions.

A small village near the Olhos de Água. The early 16th century church and the farm of the old Alviela morgados (esquires) are worth a visit. The craftswork includes wood objects and tapestries.

A dam on the Varosa river, on the Douro river basin. The most common fish species are the barbel, the nase, the chub and the trout. This place is usually the arrival place of canoeing races on the Varosa and Balsemão rivers.

This park has many trees and bushes, namely chestnut trees, weeping willows, cedars and more. There are small lakes, fountains and grottos.

Its most outstanding monuments are the roman bridge (National Monument), the roman dam, the hermitage of Saint Sebastião, the chapel of Our Lord of Ladeira, the building of the old Paços do Concelho and the prison. The local craftswork includes cork objects and chairs.
