This place was gardened in 1885, accompanying the revitalization of an area that was the city business centre and were the Palácio da Bolsa stood out. The Infante Dom Henrique garden has been suffering some transformations recently and has an underground car-park.

Space also known as Parque Leite Monteiro, located about 550 metres high. Pleasant spot, with various native and exotic species and some centenary trees. Standing out, in the middle of the park, is a lake with a map of Madeira made in stone.

With 5ha, this is an enclose space, with cypress, pines and eucalyptus. It has sculptures, a playground and picnic area, an esplanade, a swimming-pool, a lake, an ancient kiosk and glazed tiles panels from 1915. There are informative plaques about the arboreous species and a map of the park.

This Park extends for about 1.5 miles along the route of the rio Fresno. It is a recreation area opened in 2007 that offers hiking trails on the banks and a dock with support equipment. Along the River, you can see windmills, fountains and Mills recovered.

Panoramic restaurant situated at the highest point of the Adventure Park, built in wood and trunks with sublime views. Downstairs, a lounge multiúsos quite broad, with capacity for 200 people, could be used at weddings, baptisms, singles parties, meetings and business dinners.

Mill located in the Montesinho Natural Park, on the left bank of the Tuela River. The large dam guarantees enough water for the mill, with its three millstones, to operate. The old premises where the miller lived are currently transformed into a tourist accommodation unit.

This campsite, situated near the stunning Bay of Salga, in Angra do Heroísmo, is the ideal place to spend a family holiday. Has numerous amenities and lodging possibilities, since caravans to simple tents. Near the Park is a small port and a natural pool.

The Penedones campsite, located in Montalegre, is a green space with amenities and facilities, ideal to give pleasant moments of leisure in complete harmony with nature. The Alto Rabagão Dam, a few meters from the Park, allows the practice of numerous water sports activities.

The campsite of Bostelim, located along the beautiful and nice river beach of Bostelim, is a green and friendly space ideal for rest in tranquility in socializing with friends. Take the opportunity to explore the surroundings of the Park following the route of the Bostelim, a pedestrian path that promises not to disappoint.

Located in a protected area, right in the Gerês National Park, the dam of Vilarinho das Furnas is surrounded by roman archaeological vestiges and time honoured landmarks. It is a dam on the Homem river (Cávado river basin). Sports and leisure are permitted with a few restrictions.
