A place of extreme beauty from where one can view the Paços de Ferreira parish and clearly view the Cabreira Mountain.

It is the largest green space in Rio Tinto, with an area of 36,500 square meters right in the center of the parish. It has leisure equipment, an amphitheater, a terrace, sports equipment, a playground, two skate parks and dog equipment. Another of the great attractions is the walkway that connects Rio Tinto to the Parque Oriental do Porto, perfect for walking, running or cycling.

A dam, located on the Pônsul river, on the Tagus river basin, by a narrow granite gorge, above the Campinas of Idanha-a-Nova. The most common fish species are the small-mouth bass, the barbel, the nase and the carp.

The Viewpoint of Penha Garcia discusses the enormous cliffs that serve as support for the dam of the same name, whose albufeira also avista, featuring informative panels. The views are magnificent on the green hills and over the river.

Located on th right bank of the Pônsul river, it is one of the oldest locations in Portugal. It may have once been the imposing town of Egitânia (visigoth period). But even before that, the lusitans and the romans lived there (Civitas Igaeditanorum, a city of the 1st century bC). The morrish invasion of Idanha-a-Velha destroyed a large portion of the vestiges from previous civilizations. There still remain, nonetheless, some monuments that date back to the roman period (a part of the walls, a semi-cylinder shaped tower, etc.).

Large pond, fed by the waters of the Cértima River and situated in the Valley of Águeda, being also known as lagoa de Requeixo. This is a vast space and shallow, with an abundance of aquatic vegetation, especially the common, used especially in basketry. The fish species here include the eel, barbel, carp and goldfish.

The Ria de Aveiro is one of the most important and beautiful hydrographic features of the Portuguese coast. It extends for about 45 kilometers, parallel to the sea, where the Vouga, Antuã and Boco rivers flow. With a very diverse aquatic fauna, it is also a privileged place for water sports. It is the main natural attraction of the city of Aveiro.
