The sport fishing of Cavez welcomes annually 150 national and regional evidence, involving an average of 40 athletes for evidence and are held every weekend (Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning) from March to October. Such evidence to the Individual national championship of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Division in categories seniors, juveniles, hopes and ladies, and evidence within the National League Clubs, Individual Regional Championship senior categories, juveniles, hopes and ladies amongst other national competitions promoted by different Clubs. A water channel that is about 26 kilometres long, paralel to the Tagus river. Its construction was ordered in 1748 by the Marquis of Pombal, for the fields between Santarém and Azambuja.

A reservoir created by the Maranhão dam and fed by the Seda, Aviz and Raia brooks.

A tributary of the Douro river that reflects the green aspect of the surrounding hills in the small town with the same name.

This reservoir, located to the north of the municipality, divides the municipalities of Tàbua and Santa Comba Dão. At the entrance of Tábua, near the granite rocks of Pedra da Sé, some water sports and fishing are practised. It is a rather calm, pleasant space, with many trees and plenty of shade.

Large waterfall, surrounded by a landscape of great natural beauty. At the bottom of the waterfall we find a small lake where some ducks. A breathtaking landscape.

Located on the Guadiana river basin. The Enxoé reservoir, on the Enxoé brook, occupies about 785.22 ha and was classed as a protected reservoir of public waters.

A Guadiana reviver area, to the north of Mértola, where th river becomes narrower and that is why the locals used to say that one could cross from one bank to the other "num pulo" (in a jump). It is also said that the wolves used that passage a lot. The rapids caused by that compression of the river banks from 25 to 3 metres, are one of the main features. The natural waterfalls are also frequent and the highest one is 15 metres tall. The access is by a dirt road.
